That's the number of seats won by the winning and the losing party in the just concluded general elections. The strongest showing by the oppositon in the nation's history. The oppositon is now deeply entrenched in the states of Penang,  Selangor and Kelantan. The oppositon also won 9 out of 11 parliamentary seats in Kuala Lumpur.The opposition leader said the election process was flawed and the results unacceptable however his counterparts in the states happily went ahead and formed the respective state governments.
There's no denying the fact that voters in many places are obviously divided along racial lines. It'll take another generation at least for politics in this country to mature.
