Melaka revisited.

It's obvious they've done some good things in Melaka when it's hard to get room during weekends. Lots of tourists in the centre of town @Bandar Hilir. The riverside is one major improvement though in developed countries it's something that's taken for granted. What I like to see is the extension of the riverside promenade further upstream, much further. Some things have not been done right though; the monorail - technical problems; Pulau Melaka - still under construction (what's the attraction?); Melaka Raya - rows of shophouses and a run-down shopping mall that is not open for business! They are developing properties around Bandar Hilir but it's not done in a proper way, the architecture is just squarish. And too many cars...
