The Whistleblower

I'm 3/4 through the book " The Whistleblower - Confessions of a Healthcare Hitman" by Peter Rost MD. What the author went through amazes me. He has a very strong will and courage indeed to be going through all the legal wrangle as a result of his whistleblowing actions. He's helped a great deal by laws in the US that protect whistleblowers. The law makes it illegal for companies to fire whistleblower. And the fact that he spoke against company policy - though in his personal capacity & not as representative of the company he worked for - on national television irked his employers. The company did all it can to exempt him from all company operations and monitored his call and e-mails. Very interesting book and exposed some of the dealings by the large drugs companies today.
