Dodol - effortless but no fun

Saw this machine swirling around dodol in the traditional big wok over a gas cooker in Bukit Gantang R & R. Neat and even swirls and that makes the dodol cook nicely. The traditional way was to use firewood and to turn over the dodol manually using a paddle - a process that takes maybe 6 hours to complete by volunteers with strong arms and the work gets harder as the mix turns from a watery mix to heavy viscous semi-solid once it gets cooked . With this machine there's no hassle with whose turn it is to do the swirl and nobody gets smoke in their eyes. Neat and clean but no fun.
