New Federal Cabinet

The new federal cabinet has been announced. Some people are happy with the changes done - new faces, smaller cabinet, all parliamentary sec. posts are scrapped, while others aren't happy for various reasons (not fair to states, gender, race, post offered - two declined deputy ministers' posts). Whatever, the new people appointed have to show themselves capable. Almost two weeks after the General Elections the news are still full of political-related stories - and why not, the Terengganu Menteri Besar is yet to be appointed. One thing for sure, things are going to be even hotter in the weeks to come - some major fall-out within the ruling party is expected.

It seems that the Government have underestimated the power of the Internet in getting infomation to the people. While all the mainsream media reports were government-alinged, the Internet is the bastion of the Opposition. The blogger community for some reason are mainly pro-opposition.
