Once a week!

Many things come in weekly doses ...... such as your favourite TV program. My complaint here now is that the garbage collection is only done once a week. This has been going on for the past 2 months if I'm not mistaken. I remember on one occasion where they didn't come at all for the whole week & the whole housing area look a terrible mess (I chose not to post pictures here for it doesn't look good at all). What's the reason for this poor service? I heard that the City Council is having financial problems, but they have not been forthcoming to explain why the situation persists and whether it will get any better. I also heard that the annual overseas "learning trip" would still goes on as usual. Service is less and still business as usual? Mr. Mayor Sir?
