Motorcycle accident

The roads are not safe for motorcyslists. Yesterday two motorcyclists died in an accident in Anak Bukit. The two of them the just got engaged 2 days earlier. It was reported that they went down after a brush with another motorcycle and then hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. It's tragic and their families must be devastated. The road geometry do not take into account for the number of motorcyclists on the road and the number of accidents involving motorcyclists are high. What is required is the separation of motorcyclist from other vehicular traffic. This I'm sure the authorities were aware of this long ago but not not enough has being done. In the meantime these tragic events continue and more lives would be lost. To all road users out there please be extra careful.
In this office, there are rows of motorcycles parked around the building which means that motorcycles are a popular mode of transport for many people. The car park is full too. So those are the two are the most popular mode of transport of getting to work. I don't know of anybody in this office using public transport coming to work which is very unusual for any urban area. It simply reflect the state of public transport in this city - not good enough for workers in town to consider using them. The bus service must be improved and more people should be encouraged use the buses to move around - they are cheaper and safer.
