Good work Karam

Good la Karam.

March 15. Karam Singh went up a plane to see what's going on in the Sg.Selangor catchment area. Not surprising, there shown many commercial activities that pollutes the river. The best part is for Karam to blame the authorities for being unable to condone the polluting acts of those parties. The Selangor state government was singled out in particular. Good work Karam! for being blunt and unafraid, but will things change? In my opinion not likely. Many businesses associated with polluting the river e.g. river sand mining, have strong political connections so they'll get their way. In Kedah, if not for the dams and their associated catchment areas in the upper reaches of the Pedu-Muda river, the forests would have been lost to logging, agriculture and development. We, as a group of people, has thus far failed to appreciate and take good care of our environment.
