164k+!

More than 164 thousand kilometers. That's how far the car has traveled since 2008. That gives an average of 23k a year over 7 years.
No maintenance issue with the car and overall we think we've made the right choice. It's easy to drive but not the most comfortable car around. Bought it for 98K in 2008; now probably lost 50% of its value.

Square crackers.

This is our favourite for sometime now. It runs out very quickly and there're just three of us. Can't imagine if we have 5, 6 people in the house. Like many other things, the price of this item have been creeping up.

Teh O

The cheapest hot drink - Teh O -  at P11 foodcourt is now priced at 1.20. Not that long ago it was 0.90. Saw a while ago chinese tea was priced at 0.50 at comparable makan place....

In Paradise!?

The place is called Corus Paradise but it's anything but. The place badly needs a makeover. The window view is nice though.
The news are running the Paris attacks over and over as I write this. It's sad that this happened and looks like the war on terrorism has gotten worse. Bad angry people are on the loose, they could do the same anywhere. God help us all.

Another 'hot' ride.

Rode 38.93km today just for the record. Used to capture the route and distances using Endomondo but have now stopped because EM consumes quite a bit of power.
Started at about 7.30am and arr home at 11am. There's a long break in between for roti telor and teh tarek.
There's a mass ride on apparently and bumped into a fast group of riders must be the pack up front. They all got  numbers on their bikes. Joined them for about 4km before decided to turn to P8 at the bridge for TT stop. Still cooling down as I write this.

Putrajaya Scenes Update

Did a 30km solo ride last Tues hence opportunity for some photo along the bike route. The sky look very nice in its usual blue colour. It was cool and plesant as I started at just before 8am. Had a lengthy breakfast break in P8. The last leg of about 7km was done in searing heat. Lucky I got my da brim on. Photos were taken using SGN5.

Surly thus far.

So far so good. Oiled the chains and pump the tyres - that's about the only thing that needs doing, the rest are as when I got them. The components showed their reliability thus far. Surely recommended.

CH Revisited

We have not been to CH for sometime and when friends arranged for a two-nights' stay in an "English Cottage" we did not hesitate to go. Word has it that weekends are jam-packed with people and cars so we decided to go up on Sunday and return on Tuesday.
True enough as we arrived Sunday late-morning at Bharrat tea cafe it was full of people. Looks like most of them are on their last stop before going down.
Weather was perfect till about late afternoon when it rained on and off till late into the night. That's  what the weather was like on all three days we were there.The rain brought down temperature to a cool 18 deg C.
