MyVi battery

Time to replace the battery for its too weak to start the car. It costs rm195 inclusive of 6% gst. Went to a workshop in Dengkil and bring the new maintenance-free batt to the car parked in Kajang. The next time it will cost north of RM200 I'm sure.

Sunday Cycling

Weather is too good not to be outside on the bike. Even better there's cloud cover. There's a Youth Festival going on and parts of the main boulevard is closed to traffic. This festival is on a much smaller scale compared to when it was first started I think 3 years ago. There's bike motorcross, off-road 4x4 and some other smaller events. Didn't venture to all the sites though.

Here what used to be blocks of low-cost apartments  - called Pekeliling Flats -are now piles of rubble. The noise of machines breaking down the rubble can be heard from this 16th floor office. This is premium land and no surprises that they'll build to cater for upmarket segment. As always there's no hope for affordable housing in the city.

Balek Kampung

Haven't been back for while so decided to take a 2-day leave and visited folks back home. It was a good decision as far as travelling goes - the roads and highways were free flowing. Arrived in heavy downpour but the next day it was fine weather and we did what we had to do. A lot of work is required for the house & evirons has gone down in state. Has replaced the roof so far and that's a major relief. The toilets will be next.
