RM6.90 meal@TBS

I thought the price is reasonable considering the comfortable and clean place to enjoy the food. Not exactly delicious but good enough to eat as well as not overly filling. More healthy than mamak fare. The location is Terminal Bersepadu Selatan. Not my usual stop for afternoon tea but today got to leave early due to some work to be done at block F and block A. As expected bumped into old acquaintances and had mostly friendly exchanges and update on about who's where. Managed to drop by the BEM office and inquired about PAE which we're going to submit soon. Better late than never!

Govt hospital

Services at Government Hospitals I think have improved over the years and can be relied upon when needed. However it can be a hit and miss affair due to large number of patients almost at all hospitals and clinics. Much patience is needed as waiting can be lenghty. Staff are mostly courteous though I have heard of nasty ones. I also notice there are many young female doctors, in clinics as well as in hospitals. You probably see one of them on your first visit to any govt clinic or hospital.

I just learned that except for emergency cases, one need to go to a clinic first and get treatment there. A referral will only be made to a hospital if a clinic cannot handle your situation or that you need further treatment. No such system in private hospitals, they receive anybody who can pay and can refer you to a specialist rightaway.

MenaraPJD

Menara PJD is a 28-storey office building in Jalan Tun Razak. Fully occupied by various JKR divisions and it is more convenient here for me -commuting-wise - compared to going to work at to the HQ building in Jalan Sultan Salahuddin. There's a special exit from Titiwangsa LRT Station leading into the 2nd floor of this office tower. The government is renting this space as I understand it. There's a new JKR building called KKR2 being built just beside the old HQ building and it looks like it's going to be completed soon. Some other divisions in rented office spaces such as Mid-Valley is going to move there once it's finished. I'm not sure if the move will involve any of us in this building, I'd very much prefer that we stay put for the present commuting arrangement suits me well. I've been commuting using the trains for more than 2 months now and hardly any occassion where I've been delayed by the trains. Hope it goes on like that though I think something bill beak down sooner or later - I just hope and pray that nothing catasthropic will ever happen.
