Schwalbe Marathon Racers

After more than 3,000km the tyres on the MuP8 need replacing especially the rear one. The tyres are not available at the LBS so ordered online at Evans Cycle (UK). A pair costs BP26.66 + BP5 shipping for a total of BP31.66. Thats the equivalent of about RM150.00. I think that's cheaper than if they're sold locally for I saw the Schwalbe Kojak on sale for RM136 each!

Floria 2011

The annual flower event is here again - it seems that only a couple of weeks ago that we had Floria 2010. The theme flower this year is the rose. Last year's was the haleconia. Last year's event was bigger I thought, nevertheless the crowd was huge over the weekend. There's a fireworks display at 10pm & has been on for three consecutive nights. Don't know if they are going to do it for the whole week.

MuP8@3,000km

There's almost 3,000km on the cycle computer but actual mileage is a bit more than 3k because the computer was bought a few months after I bought the bicycle way back in 2008. The bike has just been overhauled at Rodalink Putrajaya for RM132.00 and only the rear brake cable was replaced otherwise everything else were put back together after they were cleaned. It rode well when I rode it this afternoon though I did feel a bit of something at the feet when pedalling at certain cadence though there's no noise, hope it'll disappear after some mileage.
