3 hotels

Got to stay in three different hotels in the space of a week.
This is the view from the 23rd floor of The Dynasty Hotel in Jalan Ipoh, KL. Just 6 minutes walk from the PWTC. The swimming pool is on the roof though didn't get to check it out. The room is large with spacious bathroom but require refurbishment urgently. Carpets are stained, the air smells and there are cockcroaches! Now that's why it's at least a hundred quid cheaper than the Sri Pacific adjoining the PWTC. Verdict: Will not want to stay in this hotel again, certainly not in the near future.
The two other hotels are in the East Coast. Both hotels were good, comfortable and definitely worth a revisit. Primula in Kuala Trengganu fronts the sea and the beach is wide and stretched for miles! It's May so the sea is calm but there are only few people in the water. The sea in this area have claimed some lives.

The Grand Riverview sits beside the Kelantan River and offers a very nice sunset view - there's a notice telling where people should stand in order to get a view.

Sg.Batu,Sg.Gombak

This is a picture taken of the confluence between Sg.Batu (left) and Sg.Gombak near PWTC. It looks nice in the picture and also nice on site physically. The day the picture was taken (yesterday) the water was greyish and smelly. There were dead fish floating about too. So there's some way to go to get the river system clean and beautiful.

Ride up Bukit Tinggi

Not exactly mean feat riding up this hill for this is Bukit Tinggi near Alor Setar not the one in Pahang. Nevertheless this was my first ride up here and without those miles behind me over the last few months I would not have conquered this hill. Very satisfying and shall try faster next time.

Table Mountain

This is the view of the Table Mountain from 21st floor of the Cape Sun Hotel on Strand Street in Cape Town. It's magnificent and weirdly flat. Being so close to the city makes it easily accessible. The hop-on hop-off open top tourist bus makes a stop at the cable-car station. That's the easiest way to go for a tourist going by without a guide. And the view from the top is fantastic.
